When major flooding hit Central and Northern Queensland in early 2025, communities and critical infrastructure were cut off. Roads were washed out, supply chains disrupted, and aviation fuel became one of the most urgent needs for emergency operations.

At Drum King, we were proud to step in and help.

Working with the **State Disaster Coordination Centre**, we played a key role in getting **avgas (aviation fuel)** delivered to affected areas in the mid-north of Queensland. Our logistics support and drum supply helped emergency aircraft keep flying during critical flood response operations.

Using our experience in **liquid waste handling and reconditioned drum supply**, we mobilised quickly to get fuel where it was needed most. Our team helped deliver aviation fuel safely and efficiently, allowing aerial support to reach isolated communities and assist with emergency response and recovery.

We're committed to supporting Queensland in times of need, and this is just one example of how we back our customers and the broader community.
